how to give

It was in 2019 that Matt and Sarah Marvane felt a strong conviction to open their own congregation, thereby establishing a presence in Lyon. Before long, a group of around 20 people had gathered; however, as their meeting space quickly became too small, they were granted the use of a larger venue in Old Lyon. Today, an average of 350 people gather every Sunday at the Saint-Joseph Church in Tassin-La-Demi-Lune.

OUR STORY

We are a church for those who do not yet attend church. We are committed to remaining faithful in welcoming—with care and compassion—every soul that God has entrusted to us and will entrust to us in the future. The time has come for our community to acquire its own premises and to operate in facilities that are truly suited to our calling.

🎉 We are THRILLED to announce that we have raised the funds needed to obtain the keys to our church building! 🎉

In just a few months, God accomplished what seemed impossible for human eyes : raising €2,134,500 for this project ! This historic milestone was made possible through God’s faithfulness and the generosity of 810 contributors.

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your faith, your prayers, and your generosity. Every donation has helped write a new chapter in the history of our Church and move forward a project dedicated to the glory of God.

This is only the beginning of this new chapter! We want to continue preparing ourselves to welcome the multitude that God is entrusting to us.

With the same faith and generosity, we now continue raising funds for the renovation and development work needed on the site. We believe that God has already provided, and that everyone can continue to take part in His story.

It is still possible to support the project, either through a one-time donation or a monthly commitment, to help fund the work and contribute to the upcoming opening of the facility.

Together, we have witnessed the impossible, and together we will continue to write His story!
